The 24th conference took place on September 25th and 26th, 2019 in Magdeburg under the motto "Digitalization in bulk material conveying technology". 173 experts from industry and research met in a pleasant and constructive atmosphere in Magdeburg to find out about the latest trends and technologies in the field of bulk material conveying technology.
At the conference, Thomas Neteler gave a lecture on the topic of utilizing and allocating silo and round bunker supplies, which he prepared together with Christian Hütt.

The Bulk Material Handling Technology Conference is held annually in alternating locations in Munich and Magdeburg, jointly by the Technical University of Munich in Garching (Chair of Conveyor Technology, Material Flow Logistics, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Fottner) and the University of Magdeburg (ILM Chair of Conveyor and Material Flow Technology, Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Katterfeld).
With this series of conferences, the organizers want to bring together interested parties from science and practice for an intensive and useful exchange of knowledge and experience for all those involved, inspired by specialist lectures, product presentations and discussion rounds.
