On Tuesday and Wednesday, the SEGLER trainees had a full day of fitness on their agenda. Everyone met early in the morning in Osnabrück at the centrumed athletics. Then it started straight away. The program consisted of a tight plan and was aimed at improving
• mobility through intensive stretching exercises
• stability through challenging balance exercises
• strength by lifting heavy weights
• coordination – remembering sequences of movements and reproducing them correctly, speed was particularly important!
• Endurance
Finally, there was a brief discussion about optimal nutrition.
