In the machining area, two new machines were purchased for training purposes in July.

Training machines are of great importance to the SEGLER company because they give trainees a place to practice and try things out and it was therefore important to replace the two damaged machines.
Firstly, a new lathe was needed after the previous machine had been damaged during transport for repairs. The new machine chosen was a 'Weiler Praktikum'. This is also used at the vocational schools, which means that optimal training conditions can be created.

Secondly, the relatively new milling machine had to be replaced because it was damaged during a training exercise. The new machine chosen was a 'Deckel FP3', a German make. Despite its older model year, it is characterized by good quality.

In order to ensure that the new machines can be enjoyed for a long time, the trainees created maintenance instructions to ensure proper operation and care.
