Sun protection was purchased for the employees at the bending press and the wing presses.

The employees on the bending presses and wing presses had to contend with difficult working conditions due to strong sunlight. The glare of the sun in particular made it difficult to work accurately. But it is not just people who suffer. In addition to the employees, strong sunlight also puts a strain on machines. The bending presses guarantee precise bending angles thanks to a laser measuring system. The measurement quality can be reduced by too much sunlight.

In order to relieve the burden on employees and machines, it was important for the SEGLER company to find a quick solution. The group leader Stefan sat down with the architect Jochen Bohmann and with the help of simulating the position of the sun throughout the day, they were able to find out how the problem could be solved. They decided on an electrically operated vertical awning around nine meters wide and three meters high.

The installation has now been completed and the affected employees can now carry out their daily work even more carefree.
