From November 2019 to July 2020, Jonas Hömer and Daniel Boldt successfully participated in the IHK Energy Scouts project of the “SME Initiative for Energy Transition and Climate Protection”.
In four workshops with top-class speakers, the two of them familiarized themselves with the broad field of energy and resource conservation alongside their training. They then analyzed resource consumption at SEGLER and decided on the topic of compressed air. They took a closer look at this topic as part of their project work and developed a concept for energy conservation. Today they presented their results and an outlook to the 1st and 2nd year SEGLER apprentices and the management.
Your conclusion:
We enjoyed the project a lot and learned a lot. In addition, climate-friendly production is an important contribution to the future. We would like to continue to support the topic of compressed air conservation and support the next generation of energy scouts. We can recommend the additional qualification to every trainee!
We thank Jonas and Daniel for their extraordinary commitment to our future and wish them much success in saving resources and energy!
