Trainees from Segler visit the WURST Stahlbau company in Bersenbrück.
This year, the trainees at SEGLER have once again organized a trainee meeting on their own initiative. This time, the 13 trainees visited the WURST Stahlbau company in Bersenbrück. First, they took part in a presentation in which the history of the company and completed projects were presented to them in various lectures. The trainees particularly remembered the project for the Neumayer 3 research station, which was built in the Antarctic. There, the WURST company had to deal with very special conditions, especially the very unusual climatic conditions. After the presentation, the trainees were given a tour of the factory, where they noticed that there is only one saw in the 14,600 square meter production area and that the order in which the steel beams are to be cut always has to be precisely organized.
After an exciting and instructive day at WURST Stahlbau, the trainees spent a convivial evening together over a meal.
