The company Segler-F\u00f6rderanlagen Maschinenfabrik GmbH will develop a heating screw conveyor with an innovative production of the high-precision hollow vane shaft. The Private University of Economics and Technology (PHWT) is focusing on the development of an algorithm for the exact calculation of blanks for vane production.<\/p>\n<p>The heating and degassing of fine petroleum coke is to be carried out on the basis of an innovative heating screw. For this purpose, a new manufacturing process for the hollow vane shaft is being developed so that for the first time welding on the shaft itself is no longer necessary. The calculation algorithm will also help to significantly reduce the manufacturing tolerances in the longitudinal and transverse directions.
