For this reason, we are pleased to announce the introduction of new, specialized 3D mice for all workstations in our design department.
Focus on people: a clear commitment to ergonomics
Hours of concentrated work on detailed 3D models can be a considerable strain on the hand and wrist. Conventional mice are only suitable for this type of complex navigation to a limited extent. As a forward-thinking employer, we see it as our duty to take preventative action before anatomical problems can even arise.
The new 3D mice have been specially developed to enable a natural and relaxed hand position. Intuitive control elements minimize the strain on joints and tendons. For us, this investment is a clear commitment to the well-being and health of our most valuable asset: our qualified employees.
Efficiency redefined: The two-hand workflow
In addition to the health aspect, 3D mice offer a decisive advantage in terms of productivity. They enable a so-called "two-hand workflow": while the conventional mouse remains in one hand for selecting, clicking and editing, the other hand navigates smoothly through the model with the 3D mouse. Rotating, zooming and panning complex assemblies becomes as intuitive and direct as holding a real object.
Of course, this new way of working requires a certain training period. However, we are convinced that the long-term benefits - a much more efficient way of working and even higher design quality - far outweigh this initial effort.
