Bulk goods are often filled into bags or big bags. Segler offers a solution for this: dosing screws for filling big bags. Segler dosing screws are used in a variety of ways in process engineering as dosing and shut-off units.
For bag handling, i.e. emptying bagged goods, SEGLER manufactures bag tipping stations with, for example, extraction, filters or a support table. For big bag handling, we design and manufacture individual handling systems and crane systems. Options available on request include, for example: pneumatic docking station, filling head, big bag frame, vibrator, automatic discharge aids, combination with bag feeding and an integrated screw conveyor. Slide gates, diverter valves and chutes are manufactured in many sizes and to customer requirements.

The highest demands on the quality and reproducibility of products require precise and precisely timed production processes.
Only small tolerances are permitted, which requires precision work in terms of design and production for media with difficult properties such as grain size, flow behavior, consistency, bulk density. When raw materials, additives, etc. are fed into the processing process or products from the process are to be filled into containers such as sacks, containers, etc., a variety of challenges must be solved. Examples of this include media that has clumped together due to storage, dust development, ensuring exact/calibrated quantities, etc.
