In a growing machine factory, standing still is not an option. This applies not only to our production, but above all to the arteries that keep it alive: our internal logistics. True to our motto "SEGLER Logistics: Materials in Motion", we continuously invest to ensure that material flows are not only maintained, but constantly optimized.
We have seen a pleasing development in recent months: The complexity of our projects, the loads to be lifted and the frequency of internal transportation processes have increased significantly. A clear sign of healthy growth. However, this growth also places new demands on our operational logistics. In order to avoid bottlenecks and further increase efficiency, we have specifically expanded our fleet with a new, high-performance forklift truck.
This acquisition is far more than just a reaction to higher weights. It is an investment in three core areas that are crucial for us:
- Performance & efficiency: The new device has significantly better performance data. In concrete terms, this means faster lifting and lowering speeds and more powerful acceleration. This makes every transport process more efficient, which saves valuable time and optimally supplies our production processes.
- Precision & safety: In a production hall where high-quality components and machines are moved in a confined space, maximum precision is required. The sensitive and exact control of the new forklift truck enables our drivers to position even heavy loads with millimeter precision. This minimizes the risk of damage and increases work safety for all employees in the area.
- Ergonomics & the focus on people: A motivated and healthy employee is the most important resource. The significantly improved ergonomics of the driver's cab noticeably reduce the strain on the driver during long assignments. A comfortable workplace not only reduces physical stress, but also promotes concentration - a decisive factor for safe and productive work.
This investment is therefore a clear commitment to our philosophy: we are strengthening SEGLER for the future by investing in modern technology that focuses on both the efficiency of our processes and the safety and satisfaction of our employees.
