At SEGLER, safety is not a passive state, but an active decision. It is the foundation on which our daily work rests. On October 29, 2025, 19 of our employees from production and the office reaffirmed this decision. They invested an entire day to hone one of the most important skills of all: the ability to act decisively in an emergency and save lives.
Competence meets determination
A first aid course should never be just dry theory. When every second counts, every move has to be right. We would like to thank the course instructor Hilke Beckemeyer, who taught our employees exactly that. With her incredibly interactive and engaging manner, she turned a training course into real training for the real thing. From management to trainees - everyone was challenged, everyone learned. We are particularly proud that our junior employees also take this responsibility seriously and have acquired their first aid certificate for their driving license at the same time. This is responsibility in action right from the start.
Technology and team spirit: For the moment that should never come
We sincerely hope that this emergency never occurs. But hope alone is not a strategy. That's why we at SEGLER leave nothing to chance. A defibrillator (AED) is waiting to be used in our production facility - a crucial tool in the battle for minutes. But the best technology is useless without people who know how to use it. These 19 colleagues are now the crucial link. They form a safety net for the entire company. This combination of state-of-the-art emergency equipment and an excellently trained team gives us all the certainty: should the unthinkable happen, we at SEGLER are ready.
