The time has come: the vision that we sketched out on paper a long time ago has now clearly become a reality. The final phase has begun.

Managing Director Thomas Neteler personally on site today to get a picture together with Johannes Zumdresch and Max Hömer (Managing Director Z&H Energy Systems) to inspect the current status. The sight of the gigantic facility allows only one conclusion: something big is being built here.

A marathon project on the home straight

A project of this size is not something that can be pulled out of the ground overnight. More than a year of construction is already behind us, and the intensive planning phase goes back much further. Thomas Neteler expressly praised the trusting cooperation with Z&H Energiesysteme at the meeting.

Of course, a project of this size is always a complex puzzle. Even if the coordination at the interfaces with various external service providers required patience and diplomatic skill from time to time, all challenges were mastered. Today, pride in what has been achieved and the anticipation of what is to come prevail: a 5 MW battery storage and a 3 MWp photovoltaic system, which are connected to the grid as a powerful duo.

Sustainable power for the northern district of Osnabrück

This new energy hub is more than just a technical facility for self-sufficiency. It is a commitment to our home region. We want the people here to benefit - be it through the strengthening of the business location or quite specifically through the planned charging park.

„It is impressive to see how the years of planning are now finally coming together. Despite the hurdles involved in such a major project, we have never lost sight of our goal: to create real, green electricity for SEGLER and a sustainable charging infrastructure for our region.“
- Thomas Neteler, Managing Director

Soon it will be 100 % of solar power for your battery. We are looking forward to flipping the switch for good. Stay tuned!
