SEGLER Förderanlagen Maschinenfabrik GmbH underpins its claim to be a technology leader and announces the start of a pioneering development project. With the support of public funding, the company will redefine the manufacturing process for screw blades - a central and performance-critical component of countless conveyor systems - from the ground up over the coming months.

Goal: A quantum leap in precision and automation

Screw flights are at the heart of many of our systems. Their geometric precision and surface quality are crucial for the efficiency, durability and reliability of the entire conveyor system. The aim of this ambitious project is to revolutionize and significantly simplify the manufacturing process, which has so far been characterized by a high degree of automation.

The project focuses on the holistic analysis and redesign of the entire process chain. By using state-of-the-art simulation and calculation methods (FEM) as well as innovative production technologies, technical processes are to be optimized from the ground up. This will enable us to reduce manufacturing tolerances to a new minimum and significantly increase component quality.

Advantages for our customers and Germany as a business location

The results of this project will directly benefit our customers. An even higher and absolutely reproducible component quality leads to noticeably more durable, more efficient and lower-maintenance systems.

At the same time, we are strengthening our competitiveness by increasing profitability and further developing our technological expertise. "This project is a clear commitment to our innovative strength and an important investment in the future of Germany as a business location," says the management. SEGLER is not only investing in its own future, but also setting new standards for precision and efficiency in the entire industry.
