At SEGLER, mid-December is traditionally the time to pause, review the past financial year and spend a reflective time together. As part of our annual Christmas party, the staff and management came together to bring the year to a festive close. But in addition to the cozy get-together and the culinary offerings, we always like to use this occasion to say thank you to those who have helped shape the company for many years: our long-standing employees.
In today's often fast-paced working world, it is no longer a matter of course that people remain loyal to an employer for decades. We are therefore all the more pleased that we were once again able to honor numerous long-service employees this year. It is a nice sign of consistency and shows us that our employees feel at home at SEGLER and have found a professional home here.
A special bond - 13 honors and active retirees
This year, we were able to honor a total of 13 employees for their many years of service. The range of anniversaries was remarkable, extending from a decade to half a century. One fact that makes us particularly proud is the loyalty of our „seniors“: the honorees included employees who have actually already started their well-deserved retirement. However, their loyalty to the company and to their colleagues is so great that they continue to support SEGLER with their experience and energy.
This mix of active specialists and experienced retirees makes up our team. We congratulate our colleagues on the following milestones:
- 3 employees for 10 years
- 2 employees for 15 years
- 1 employee for 20 years
- 2 employees for 25 years
- 1 employee for 35 years
Each of these figures represents countless hours of work, challenges overcome and expertise contributed that has helped our company move forward. But some colleagues have been with us for almost their entire working lives.
Decades of loyalty: 40 and 50 years at SEGLER
When employees have been with a company for 40 years or more, it is proof of an exceptional relationship of trust. We would like to thank those colleagues who have been part of our workforce for four decades. In particular 40 years for years of service:

- Hermann Ricke
However, one anniversary stands out in particular this year, even though the person celebrating the anniversary was unfortunately unable to attend. It is an honor that has become an absolute rarity in the modern business world: Heinrich Rechtien looks back on proud 50 years back at SEGLER.
Working in one and the same company for half a century is a lifetime achievement that fills us with great respect. During these five decades, Heinrich Rechtien has experienced the development of SEGLER at first hand, accompanied the changes in technology and is an integral part of our company history. Even though he is not shown in the group photo of the jubilarians, he deserves our special thanks and recognition for this extraordinary loyalty.
