Our project manager Chris Bekermann took part in the Sino-German Business Conference in Hanover. The Lower Saxony Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport and Construction and the Anhui provincial government had invited him. The aim of the event was to intensify economic cooperation between Lower Saxony and the Chinese partner province of Anhui and to provide new impetus for joint projects.

The focus was on insights into the investment conditions, key industries and innovation potential of Anhui Province, an up-and-coming economic region of strategic importance for Germany. Representatives from politics, business and research discussed how both regions can benefit from each other, particularly in the fields of energy efficiency, sustainable production, mechanical engineering and modern manufacturing technologies.

For us, participation offered the opportunity to make new international contacts and exchange ideas about technological developments and opportunities for cooperation. In a globally networked environment, partnerships at eye level are crucial for driving innovation and developing sustainable solutions.

"The personal exchange with decision-makers from Anhui was extremely valuable. We were able to identify interesting points of contact, both in terms of technology and strategy," reports Chris after the meeting.

With its visit to Hanover, SEGLER is consistently pursuing its strategy: open to new markets, committed to international dialog and focused on future topics that strengthen industry and the environment in equal measure.
