For decades, we have been applying our expertise not only in the development of complex machines and systems, but also in the manufacture and optimization of screw shafts and screw flights.
Our worm shafts are manufactured to the highest standards – from A4-grade stainless steel, duplex (1.4462), super duplex (1.4410), as well as special materials such as 1.4539, 1.4547 (Alloy 254 SMO), or heat-resistant stainless steel (e.g., 1.4828, 1.4841, 1.4845). Wear-resistant versions made from Brinar, Hardox, XAR, Raex, or Creusabro are also available.
We offer finely ground surfaces with Ra down to 0.4 µm, including a measurement report, sawtoothed perimeters, welded-on scraper points (up to 70 HRC), and hardfacing – complete or as a bead. Cooling or heating screws with fluid guidance, sealing seats with protective bushings, hollow wings, or window threads are also available.
Conformity with AD 2000, AD-W2 certificates, concentricity tests and tolerances according to DIN and ISO are a matter of course for us – as is clean, documented processing of duplex and superduplex.
