Some things are simply part of the familiar image of a company. For us at SEGLER, our large yellow screw conveyor at the entrance was such a symbol. For many decades, it greeted employees, customers and partners and became a real landmark - a steel greeting that stood for our identity in mechanical engineering.

However, in the course of our extensive renovation and expansion work, a sign of our growth, the snail had to leave its traditional place with a heavy heart. But it was clear to us that this was not a farewell, but the beginning of a new chapter.

A special project for our future: the trainees take over

Instead of simply moving the landmark, we turned it into a special project for those who shape our future: our trainees. With great commitment and craftsmanship, they took on the task of giving the old lady a new shine. With painstaking work, the scroll was completely overhauled, re-primed and finally given a fresh, powerful paint job in bright red - a color that stands for dynamism and energy.

Teamwork at dawn: The move to the new location

The final act took place in the early hours of the morning. We needed active support to lift the landmark safely to its new, prominent position at the entrance to our parking lot. A big thank you goes to the team of our partner, the Company Fryewhich accompanied the heavy move with precision and professionalism.

Now it shines again, our landmark - refurbished, in a new location and yet familiar. It is a symbol of the combination of tradition and progress and proof of the skill and dedication of our junior staff.

We would like to thank everyone involved for their great commitment and look to the future with optimism. May the coming decades also bring us good business and successful development in the face of the red snail!
