At SEGLER, sustainability is not just a buzzword, but a lived practice. We are delighted to be able to announce an impressive milestone for the year 2025: Last year, we charged a whopping 25,000 kWh of clean electricity directly into our employees' electric cars via our own photovoltaic systems!
The fact that we generate 100 % of this electricity from our own PV system makes us particularly proud. But what does 25,000 kilowatt hours actually mean in practice?
The calculation: this is how much fuel we saved together
Assuming an average consumption of 18 kWh per 100 kilometers, this amount of electricity is enough to cover around 140,000 kilometers purely electrically and emission-free. That's the equivalent of more than three and a half times around the world!
If you compare this with a conventional combustion vehicle (with an average consumption of 7 liters per 100 km), our employees will have saved almost 10,000 liters of petrol or diesel saved. This is a massive benefit for our environment and a significant reduction in our carbon footprint.
Free charging for our team
To make the switch to electromobility as attractive as possible, we are offering our team a special benefit: our employees can use our charging stations to charge their cars. Charge free of charge with up to 11 kW (AC). This protects the environment and is noticeably easier on your wallet. We are firmly convinced: If you want to promote electromobility, you have to start within your own company.
Our fast-charging park: power for everyone!
We go one step further: electromobility needs infrastructure - for everyone. That is why we have made our location the SEGLER Loading park expanded.
Here are Two state-of-the-art 200 kW fast-charging stations (hyperchargers) ready. What's special: This offer is not just for our team! External drivers of electric cars can also experience high-speed charging with us. Prior registration is required here.
